Shandong Sun Auto Parts Co., Ltd. is a key backbone enterprise in the heavy-duty auto parts industry of Shandong Province, specializing in the R&D, manufacturing and sales of commercial vehicle steel wheels. The company covers a land area of 43,290 square meters with a building area of 29,520 square meters and a registered capital of 50 million RMB. Its average annual operating revenue has exceeded 400 million RMB in the past three years. With stable business operation, the company possesses strong capabilities of sustainable product supply and technical upgrading.
Equipped with full-chain manufacturing and professional quality control systems, the company currently operates 5 production lines for tubeless wheels and 2 production lines for section steel wheels, supported by advanced cathode electrophoretic coating and pre-treatment production lines. It owns more than 200 sets of professional equipment including 1,260-ton heavy hydraulic presses, CNC lathes and automatic welding machines. Meanwhile, full sets of precision testing equipment such as coordinate measuring machines, fatigue testers, salt spray testers and fully automatic dynamic balancers are deployed to realize all-round quality control over raw materials, production processes and finished products.
The company has obtained ISO9001:2015, IATF16949 and Brazilian Inmetro international certifications, with an annual production capacity of 2.8 to 3 million sets of automotive steel wheels. It serves as a long-term supporting supplier for mainstream OEMs including Sinotruk, Shaanxi Automobile Group, XCMG Automobile and SAIC Hongyan.
Development History
1995: Founded Jinan Tianqiao Heavy-duty Auto Parts Factory, starting the in-depth layout of heavy-duty auto parts manufacturing.
2007: Established Shandong Jiayuan Heavy Truck Parts Co., Ltd. to consolidate industrial foundation and expand supporting business for vehicle OEMs.
2008: Implemented strategic layout and constructed a modern production base in Qihe Economic Development Zone.
2009: Officially registered and founded Shandong Sun Auto Parts Co., Ltd., completing standardized enterprise upgrading.
2011: The new production base was fully put into operation, realizing standardized and large-scale wheel production.
2017 to Present: Improved the IATF16949 system, upgraded automated production lines and precision testing equipment, and continuously deepened strategic cooperation with mainstream vehicle OEMs.

Manufacturing & Core Processes
The company has built a full-process standardized and standardized wheel manufacturing system covering raw material processing, forming and welding, surface treatment and finished product testing. It strictly implements IATF16949 process control requirements to guarantee product accuracy, consistency and batch delivery stability.
Core Production Lines & Hardware Support
The company is equipped with 5 tubeless wheel production lines, 2 section steel wheel production lines, 2 cathode electrophoretic coating lines and 3 pre-treatment lines. It owns more than 200 sets of professional equipment including German imported Leifeld automatic spinning machines, 1,260-ton heavy hydraulic presses, full-automatic CNC lathes, robotic automatic welding units and flash butt welding machines, supporting large-scale standardized production.
Key Process Focused Control
Special operation guidelines are formulated for core processes such as welding, weld grinding, spinning forming and rolling. Key quality characteristics including weld reinforcement, bead seat dimension, bolt hole accuracy and static unbalance are strictly controlled. 100% on-line detection is implemented for dynamic balance, end runout and radial runout.
Compliant Management of Special Processes
Welding and coating are classified as special processes with certified operators. Regular equipment inspection and calibration as well as real-time monitoring and archiving of process parameters are carried out. PFMEA and control plans are strictly implemented to avoid quality risks caused by human and equipment fluctuations.
Full-process Production Traceability
A batch management system is established to realize full identification and traceability of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products. Production personnel, equipment, process parameters and test data are fully recorded and corresponding, enabling rapid positioning and closed-loop rectification of quality problems.
Quality Control & Testing Verification
In strict compliance with the IATF16949 automotive quality management system, the company has established a full-process closed-loop quality control mode, realizing all-round quality management and accurate testing verification from raw material incoming inspection and in-process patrol inspection to finished product delivery.
Three-level Inspection Control Mechanism
A three-level inspection system including IQC incoming quality control, IPQC in-process quality control and FQC finished quality control is implemented. Multi-layer quality assurance is realized through operator self-inspection, team mutual inspection and professional quality inspection, with strict control over key items such as critical dimensions, weld quality, dynamic balance and runout.
Key Characteristic Process Control
CPK process capability analysis and MSA measurement system analysis are carried out for core quality characteristics including static unbalance, bolt hole position degree, flatness, runout, rim dimension and paint film performance to ensure stable and controllable production processes.
Precision Testing Equipment
The company is equipped with a full set of testing equipment including coordinate measuring machines, full-automatic dynamic balance testers, air tightness testers, wheel fatigue testers, salt spray testers and material physical and chemical analyzers, enabling full verification of dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and product reliability.
Closed-loop Problem Handling & Continuous Improvement
An 8D rectification process is strictly implemented for production abnormalities and customer feedback. Problem ledgers are established and operation standards are optimized to prevent the recurrence of similar problems. Regular process verification is conducted for special processes such as welding and coating.
Finished Product Control & Full-chain Traceability
• Qualified finished products are uniformly marked with batch number, model and production date, and stored in standardized warehouses with moisture-proof, collision-proof and deformation-proof protection measures.
• Finished product inventory ledgers are established. OQC outgoing sampling inspection is conducted before delivery to verify product model, quantity, batch and qualification certificates.
• All test data, inventory records and delivery information are archived in real time, realizing full-chain quality traceability from raw materials to end customers and rapid closed-loop problem rectification.
